Google Announces Its First Google Play Awards

Google has big plans for this year. After releasing the Android N Preview ahead of Google I/O 2016 (where it usually unveils it), the company has now announced its first ever Google Play Awards. These Awards, as you might expect, would honor some of the most beautiful and best apps of the Google Play Store. The company has already selected 10 categories with five nominees each.

These categories include Standout Startup, Standout Indie, Best Families App, Best Use of Material Design, Best Use of Google Play Game Services, Early Adopter, Go Global, Most Innovative, Best App, and Best Game. The company says the nominations were selected by a “panel of experts on the Google Play team.”

While only 10 will win the awards, but they all are some of the best Android apps you could find on the Google Play Store. Starting with Alto’s Adventure to Todoist, almost every app in the list deserves to be there. And I am pretty sure that the developers behind these app worked very hard to make that possible.

You can check out the full list of nominees for Google Play Awards 2016 Here! The Winners will be announced at Google I/O on May 19th.

Squid Game , one of the most popular Korean dramas on Netflix right now, is coming back soon with Season 2.  Ted Sarandos, chief content officer of Netflix, has confirmed that Squid Game Season 2 is officially in the works. While he didn't share any details about when we can expect to watch Squid Game Season 2 on Netflix, but if we are to make a guess, it might be sometime next year or by the end of this year. Sarandos has also hinted that “ The Squid Game universe has just begun, " which means we might get to see Squid Game related contents like games and more. As right now, Squid Game merchandise and toys are already available for purchase in different parts of the world. What is Squid Game ?
