Google says Google.com Is A Dangerous Website

Google Holi

Google’s Safe Browsing Site Status checker is a website that tells you whether a site you are visiting is safe or is dangerous. You can just write the URL of the website you want to check and it will then let you know whether it is a safe to visit site or there are some hidden malware which could dangerous for you. What if we check Google.com? Before you think it is a stupid question, let me tell you it isn’t. Someone already did that and the results are surprising.

As discovered by a Reddit user, according to Google’s very own Safe Browsing site checker, Google.com (company’s main homepage) is not safe and it contains dangerous contents. The site checker says, "some pages on this website (google.com) redirect visitors to dangerous [ones] that install malware on visitors' computers."

It is not only funny, but weird too. But if you look at the bottom of the Safety Checker, it says, ”Don't panic. Users sometimes post bad content on websites that are normally safe. Safe Browsing will update the safety status once the webmaster has cleaned up the bad content.”

Google Safe Browsing

We don’t know the exact reason for that message, but it appears like some sites that are linked to Google.com are hosting malicious content. We are pretty sure that Google might be already aware of the problem and working on a fix.

Till then, you can go ahead and share this post with your friends, with a big LOL.
