Instagram testing a new black-and-white design
After long years of same old blue-and-orange design, Instagram is now working on making this better. According to new screenshots and reports, Instagram is currently testing a new black-and-white design for its app. While we don’t know how many Instagram users are seeing this new design, but if it is legit then this will be a major update for Instagram’s app.
The screenshots which were shared to The Verge by tipster Anton Abramov, shows some new redesigned app icons and more whit space than the current version. The popular camera icon has been also redesigned, as it now features a circle, instead of a square, making itself more like a camera icon. The Activity icon has also ditched the old design by simply going with a heart, instead of putting it inside a comment box.
While Instagram did confirmed that these screenshots are real and they are testing a design like that, but that doesn’t mean that you will see it in final product. Just like every other company, Instagram too experiments with new features and updates, but not every one of them get the green flag.
But still we are happy to see that Instagram is working on redesigning its app. What do you think?
