Android N will not only come with amazing new features, but also with an updated Google Apps. If you run Android N Developer Preview on your Nexus smartphone then you might be already aware of that. As the Android N Preview comes with a new Google Camera, which includes some new improvements over the current version of the app. Now it appears like Google is done testing it, as the new Google Camera app is now available for download.
Those who are interested can now easily download the latest Google Camera app (version 3.2) from the Google Play Store. Don’t worry! you don’t need Android N to run that, this app will run on older version of Android too.
What’s new
There are number of changes in the new Google Camera app. Like for example, it now lets users to capture images while shooting raw videos, they can now even use a shutter button to take a picture. Another notable thing in this update is the location of slow motion feature. For some reasons, the company has removed it from easily accessible panel, to pullout menu. So, enabling slow-motion feature in this latest version of Google Camera app is a bit more work.
Other improvements include, new icon for camera switching option and revamped shutter button.
