MacBook Air

Apple today launched its new MacBook 2016 line with faster processor, better battery life and a new rose gold color option. Along with that, the company also made the 13-inch MacBook Air 8GB RAM model a standard option. What does that mean? It means that now the 13-inch MacBook Air’s base model starts at 8GB. Before this, the base model of 13-inch MacBook Air came with 4GB RAM and an $100 upgrade option for 8GB RAM model.

With this move, Apple has officially discontinued the 13-inch MacBook Air with 4GB RAM model.

With this move, Apple is making the 13-inch MacBook Air better, as all the other $1,000 priced Laptops already come with 8GB RAM. And it is now more common these days. Unfortunately, Apple didn’t reveal any new rose gold option for MacBook Air. Appears like we might have to wait a little more for that. But the good news is Apple still thinks MacBook Air is a profitable product.
