A 21-year-old Amal Augustine from Kochi, India, recently made a good amount of money by selling a domain name to Facebook, the world’s largest social networking website.

The domain which Augustine sold to Facebook was actually named after Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s daughter Max. Facebook paid $700 to purchase the domain name ‘maxchanzuckerberg.org’  from Augustine, who purchased it in December 2015.

Telling his story, Augustine revealed that he purchased the domain name maxchanzuckerberg.org on the same day when Mark Zuckerberg announced the birth of his baby daughter Maxima Chan Zuckerberg, which was on December 1. That was the same day when Zuckerberg announced that he will give all of his shares to a charity, which is owned by Zuckerberg family.

On Monday, Augustine received an email from Sarah Kim of ICONIQ Capital, the company which manages Mark Zuckerberg’s wealth.

“They asked me what my purchase amount is and I said $700, thinking they would agree for at least $500. To my surprise, they agreed for the amount which I demanded. In fact, my friends later told me I could have made a better deal. But, this is my first deal and I have no regrets,” Augustine told ToI.

Augustine isn’t the only one to do that. There are many people around the world who do the same. And In fact, Augustine has bought several other domains names of other brands. But maxchanzuckerberg.com was the first domain name which he actually sold.

For all those who are planning to do the same, well it appears like Facebook was only interested in .org domain name. As maxchanzuckerberg.com exists and it has a message for Mark Zuckerberg – “PS: If you are Mark Z. I’ll give it for $0.00. WHOIS me and drop a line…dad 2 dad.” It was also booked on December 1 in 2015.
