- Strangers won’t be able to message or follow teen accounts easily as they could before
- Instagram’s algorithms will ensure that teens don’t stumble upon inappropriate or harmful content.
- Parents can now monitor and guide their child’s Instagram experience, including being notified of certain activities.
- For users under 16, changing the settings will require parental approval.
- Instagram will now automatically apply the above mentioned default safety settings for users aged 13 to 17 years
